A campus built to transform you — not just educate you. Hundreds of acres of regenerated forest, farm, water and silence, where the campus itself is the curriculum.

At HARI, a typical day moves between forest and farm, laboratory and library, silence and conversation. The campus does not feel like an institution. It feels like a place where something important is quietly happening — and you are part of it.
Regeneration, lived
An expansive campus ecosystem stretching across hundreds of acres — too large to walk across, too alive to ignore. Fifteen years ago, this land was barren, rocky scrubland in the Ranga Reddy district of Telangana. Today it is home to 150,000 trees, functioning wetlands, active rainwater harvesting, and a self-sustaining solar energy grid.
The IGBC Platinum certification — India's highest green-building rating — was not awarded for good intentions. It was awarded for measurable outcomes: water usage reduced by over 50% versus comparable campuses, 100% solar-powered operations, and verified carbon sequestration across the forest cover.
Students at HARI don't study sustainability. They live inside the proof that it works.

A living laboratory

01The Living Laboratory
Forest, farm, laboratory and library sit minutes apart across a several-hundred-acre sanctuary. Students don't prepare for the real world in a seminar room — the campus is the real world, and learning happens inside it.

02Research in practice
Agriculture and Engineering students build and run interdisciplinary research platforms together — from tissue-culture nurseries to precision soil and water management on a working farm that has been regenerating for fifteen years.

03Regeneration, measured
Mega-nursery and exotic-nursery facilities propagate the species that turned scrubland into forest. Every batch, every wetland, every soil sample becomes part of a continuous, longitudinal ecological dataset.
Built for depth
Spaces engineered for elite performance, rigorous research, and quiet restoration — all on one campus.

City life
The HARI campus sits within Ranga Reddy district, approximately 35 km from central Hyderabad — one of India's most dynamic cities and the country's leading technology hub. Students have access to world-class internship and industry networks in IT, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and agri-business. The campus is fully residential, giving you the rare luxury of living inside a lush ecological campus while staying connected to one of India's great cities.
